The new race location at Hatchet Creek was nothing shy of spectacular. The course provided a little bit of everything from open fields to hill climbs to creek bottoms. Lap 1 was a freight train with C Ousley, McCoy, RJ Cook, and Hunter Williams making their way through the course. Williams moved up into 2nd by end of lap 2 ahead of Ousley but would drop back to 3rd on the last lap. McCoy held off Ousley and Williams charge to take the moto win by 3 seconds. Cook would end up 4th and Reese would finish 5th on adjusted time from 30+A.
McCoy got the holeshot again in moto 2 and C Ousley got the lead leading McCoy for most of the race. McCoy made his way around on one of the hill climbs on the last lap. Williams finished a strong 3rd overall. Neal Ousley and Adam Barr rounded out the top 5.
McCoy pulled through with a 1-1 performance but it didn’t come easy. He takes back over the points lead 3 rounds in. 📸 @eightytwophotography #seccaracing A photo posted by SECCA RACING (@seccaracing) on
